Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a seasoned Preconstruction Program Lead in Texas to oversee design-build and design-assist projects. You will manage the design and detailing schedule, monitor development progress, and coordinate with owners, GCs, and design partners to meet time and cost goals.

Responsibilities include leading multi-project programs, managing financials of design contracts, providing input on procurement, and mentoring design PMs and engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical training with related experience.
• PE licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design-build/design-assist projects, delivering quality within time and cost constraints.
• Develop and manage design development and detailing schedules.
• Coordinate with owners, GCs, and other design teams.
• Oversee financial aspects of design contracts to maintain profitability.
• Mentor design PMs and engineers to ensure compliance and quality.
• Lead early procurement and develop RFPs to define scopes and schedules.
