Southland Industries is seeking a seasoned preconstruction leader in Texas to manage the early project phases from award through construction. You will interface with clients, manage the design team, oversee a unified workflow, and maintain project budgets.

You will also help develop proposals, estimates, and win strategies. You will lead design management, coordinate with the Project Engineering Lead, and mentor the project team, aiming for repeat business with a solid client base and strong

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
• 3+ years in Project Management.
• 3+ years in Engineering.
• Experience planning projects, performing value-engineering analyses, and maintaining budgets.
• Strong leadership for preconstruction with HVAC system knowledge.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage preconstruction from award to construction and coordinate with client and design team.
• Develop proposals, estimates, and win strategies.
• Serve as main point of contact during preconstruction for the project.
• Lead design management and engineering planning with the Project Engineering Lead.
• Implement and manage the Unified Workflow across the team.
• Provide leadership and delegate responsibilities within the project team.
• Ensure budgets, cost projections, change orders, and reports are accurate.
• Mentor future preconstruction leads and develop a repeat client base.
• Read CAD drawings and submittals; coordinate tasks and documentation.
• Present bids and explain scope to executives and managers.
