Job summary

McKinstry seeks a DER Procurement Leader to direct and execute the overall DER procurement strategy within the EcoDistrict Services—DER National team. You will lead supplier relationships, craft long-term sourcing strategies, and develop master agreements to enable scalable, compliant procurement across DER/EPC projects.

Responsibilities include strategic partnerships, supplier negotiations, and integration with Enterprise Procurement governance, while actively managing supplier risk,

Qualifications

• Strategic sourcing and supplier lifecycle management in an enterprise procurement environment.
• DER technologies and EPC delivery models knowledge (BESS, inverters, transformers, civil/installation).
• Translate policy into supplier/contracting requirements and bid competitiveness implications.
• Develop and negotiate MSAs/MSAs addressing warranties, LDs, and asset performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and procurement activities, including supplier evaluations and negotiations.
• Develop and manage Master Supply Agreements for scalable DER supply chains.
• Ensure DER sourcing aligns with Enterprise Procurement governance and policy.
• Implement supplier governance, track ESG and safety performance.
