Job summary

McKinstry Essention, LLC seeks a DER Procurement Leader to steer the national DER procurement strategy within EcoDistrict Services. You will shape supplier ecosystems, negotiate long-term master agreements, and drive risk mitigation across EPC and DER supply chains.

The role focuses on policy navigation, cost containment, and scalable supplier partnerships to support governance and project delivery on a national scale in the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience leading strategic sourcing in a governed enterprise procurement environment.
• Deep knowledge of DER technologies, EPC partners, and OEMs.
• Ability to translate policy into supplier and contracting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct and execute the DER procurement strategy for the DER National team.
• Cultivate supplier relationships, negotiate master agreements, and manage supplier health.
• Lead supplier evaluations, contracting, logistics, and delivery planning.
• Develop MSAs/MSAs to enable scalability and long-term asset performance.
• Align DER sourcing with Enterprise Procurement governance and policy statements.
• Monitor safety, ESG, and performance compliance within the supplier ecosystem.
• May manage one or more direct reports.
