Qualifications

• Strategic sourcing, supplier segmentation and end-to-end lifecycle management in a governed enterprise procurement environment.
• DER technologies and delivery models (e.g., BESS and controls, inverters/PCS, transformers/switchgear, civil/installation, commissioning/O&M) and how EPC partners and OEMs structure scope, risk, and pricing.
• Working knowledge of requirements impacting DER sourcing (IRA/ITC/PTC, domestic content, tariffs/trade restrictions) and translating policy into supplier/contracting requirements.
• Experience developing and negotiating master agreements and project forms addressing warranties, performance guarantees, liquidated damages, change control, and long-term asset performance obligations.
• Expertise mitigating commodity volatility, lead-time constraints, capacity bottlenecks, and technology obsolescence through dual sourcing and supplier health monitoring.
• Knowledge of supplier governance practices (scorecards/QBRs), supplier risk/compliance frameworks, and integrating safety/ESG expectations into qualification and contracting.
• Ability to benchmark suppliers and delivery models against peers and market indices; develop should-cost/TCO views; provide insights through data.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and procurement activities, including supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, logistics, delivery planning, and approvals; drive long-term procurement cost savings.
• Negotiate and manage master agreements and MSAs; design scaleable supplier networks for DER/EPC.
• Develop and maintain MSAs/MSPs with warranties, LDs, and performance terms; oversee asset performance requirements.
• Collaborate with DER leadership and enterprise procurement as the bridge to governance and supplier framework adoption.
• Establish supplier governance and monitor safety, ESG, and performance compliance.
• Cultivate supplier relationships and performance data to identify bottlenecks before project delivery.
• Direct reports may be assigned and managed.
