Job summary

McKinstry is seeking a DER Procurement Leader to direct the overall procurement strategy for our EcoDistrict Services - DER National team. You will shape supplier ecosystems, negotiate MSAs, and guide DER with enterprise Procurement alignment to optimize value, compliance, and performance across EPC partners and OEMs.

Qualifications

• Strategic sourcing, category strategy, supplier lifecycle management in governed procurement environments.
• DER technologies knowledge and EPC delivery models and how OEMs/partners structure scope and pricing.
• translate policy to supplier/contracting requirements and bid implications.
• Experience developing and negotiating master agreements, warranties, LDs and performance obligations.
• Mitigate commodity volatility, lead-time constraints, capacity bottlenecks with dual sourcing and supplier health monitoring.
• Knowledge of supplier governance, safety and ESG expectations in qualification and contracting.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and procurement activities, including supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, logistics and ordering oversight.
• Develop and manage Master Supply Agreements to enable scalability and long-term asset performance.
• Coordinate Enterprise Procurement alignment and governance to maximize commercial advantage.
• Implement supplier governance, safety and ESG monitoring across the ecosystem.
• May directly manage one or more direct reports.
• Build strategic partnerships and guide DER leadership on procurement options and policy implications.
