Job summary

Westfield Bank in Hartford, CT seeks a VP, Business & Government Deposit Services Sales Officer to lead outside sales and build deposit relationships with businesses, nonprofits and government entities in Connecticut.

You will develop a proactive sales and networking strategy, manage municipal banking relationships, and collaborate with Retail Banking, Commercial Lenders and partners to achieve monthly goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 5-8 years of business development and sales experience.
• Strong knowledge of bank deposit and cash management products.
• Municipal banking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop outside sales and networking strategy to win new deposit relationships.
• Grow and maintain municipal banking relationships within Connecticut.
• Manage current customer relationships with emphasis on deposit services.
• Cross-sell bank products and services to existing and new customers.
• Collaborate with Retail Banking Team, Commercial Lenders and other partners.
