Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Valid CDL preferred.
• 3+ years transportation experience required.
• Leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage Department for multiple locations and/or additional complex customer-specific responsibilities.
• Manage Dedicated Fleet of Professional Drivers with authority to take actions and/or make recommendations.
• Monitor performance, attendance, safety and quality.
• Direct and dispatch all transportation activities within the department.
• MaintainCustomer relations through excellent communication and client visits.
• Coordinate load updates and ETA/PTA with customers.
• Work with internal departments to resolve issues.
• Manage Driver PM schedules for tractors and trailers.
• Assist drivers with payroll, advances, and fuel issues.
• Prepare, organize and assist in the loading process.
• Handle additional customer-specific requirements (Hatchery).
