Covenant Transport, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Fleet Manager to link operations, drivers, and customers. You will coach drivers, manage a dedicated fleet, and coordinate with customers to maximize asset utilization and service reliability.

Responsibilities include tracking loads, ensuring on-time pickups/deliveries, and providing feedback on driver performance. The role emphasizes safety, DOT/HOS knowledge, and team collaboration in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• bachelors preferred in related field
• AS400 or TMW experience valuable
• 0-3 years management or leadership experience
• Transportation industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage Dedicated Fleet of Professional Drivers
• Coordinate and communicate with customers regarding fleet activity
• Track and trace trucks and manage home time requests
• Maintain communication to reduce turnover and ensure on-time delivery
• Update AS400 and TMW data accurately
• Assist drivers with payroll needs and fuel issues
