Job summary

Groupe SEB in Irvine, CA, seeks a senior Demand Planning leader to own and improve the rolling 12–18 month forecast across brands and markets. You will drive the monthly demand-review within the S&OP cycle and partner with Sales, Product Management, and Finance to build a consensus forecast.

The role emphasizes advanced forecasting techniques, SAP ERP mastery, and strong Excel/Power BI skills. This hybrid position offers growth across NA and LATAM with a focus on availability and profitability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
Master's degree or advanced supply chain certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply planning, inventory management, or related function.
Proven experience leading demand-review and S&OP in multi-brand, multi-market, or multinational environments.
Strong understanding of statistical forecasting techniques, including trend, seasonality, and exception-based planning.
Experience with SAP ERP, demand planning, and AP systems; master data and forecast hierarchies management.
Strong Excel skills and proficiency with BI tools (Power BI or equivalent).
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority.
Excellent communication and relationship-building with local, BU, and corporate stakeholders.
Fluency in English; Spanish preferred for LATAM scope; additional languages helpful.

Responsibilities

Own and improve the demand-planning process across 12–18 months for brands, products, customers, channels, and markets.
Lead monthly demand-review and document assumptions, risks, opportunities, and decisions within the S&OP cycle.
Partner with Sales, Service, Product Management, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to develop a consensus forecast.
Analyze forecast performance with accuracy, bias, and KPI analyses; identify root causes and corrective actions.
Identify gaps vs. budget and latest estimates; coordinate commercial or operational responses.
Incorporate customer insights, promotions, seasonality, and market trends into the demand plan.
Provide inputs for safety stock, allocation, and inventory decisions with Supply Planning.
Communicate product-availability risks and mitigation actions with production and stakeholders.
Support lifecycle planning: new introductions, phase-ins/outs, promotions, discontinuations.
Analyze slow-moving/obsolete inventory and coordinate demand-side actions.
Use ERP and analytics tools to improve forecast quality and decision-making.
Establish planning governance and continuous-improvement standards across the org.
Develop planning capabilities through training and accountability.
