Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Sr. Station Leader to oversee all delivery-station operations, safety, quality and people development at the Tyler, TX site.

You will drive the station vision, lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, and partner with DSPs to optimize performance and cost while building leadership bench strength. You will hire, develop and coach staff, implement talent plans, and report metrics to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Experience managing salaried, hourly and agency workforce in logistics or distribution.
• Experience delivering results, setting strategy, and managing high-volume operations.
• 6+ years in performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques.
• Experience with staffing lifecycle (interviews, hiring, performance management, promotions).
• Experience working with third-party vendors and large contingent workforce programs.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and communication skills.
• Fluent English communication with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety, quality, performance and people development for all delivery station operations.
• Drive vision and lead quality, lean and process-improvement initiatives to meet business plans.
• Problem-solve gaps between performance and goals across the DS.
• Set expectations for Operations and Area Managers; measure and hold teams accountable.
• Manage day-to-day relations with DSPs and partners.
• Present operational metrics to senior leadership on a regular basis.
