Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Product Manager to own the DeFi Borrow product area end-to-end, guiding strategy, roadmap, and launch across web and mobile.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Risk, Legal, and Finance to ensure compliant, scalable loan flows and to translate onchain concepts into trusted customer experiences. You will drive multi-quarter plans and continuously improve product value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management experience shipping consumer or prosumer financial products at scale, including lending or collateralized products (e.g., margin, secured loans, DeFi borrowing).
• Ability to define multi-quarter strategy, translate into roadmaps and experiments, and deliver growth and portfolio-health results.
• Familiarity with onchain concepts, smart contracts, and DeFi lending protocols for close collaboration with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own the DeFi Borrow product area end-to-end, from vision and strategy through execution, launch, and ongoing iteration across web and mobile.
• Drive the multi-year roadmap for crypto-backed loans, including borrow flows, loan management, refinancing, and new product surfaces.
• Define OKRs across workstreams and lead cross-functional teams to deliver against them.
• Partner with Engineering to ship scalable borrowing experiences with focus on safety, reliability, and core loan workflows.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Finance to ensure regulatory alignment while preserving customer experience.
• Build launch runbooks, on-call readiness, degraded-UI strategies, and incident playbooks for DeFi Borrow reliability.
