Job summary

Secmation in Huntsville, AL, seeks a senior, hands-on system integration and test engineer for defense-grade RF, embedded, hardware, and software-intensive systems. You will own testing from benchtop through HWIL, field trials, and flight-test events where applicable, collaborating with government customers and subcontractors.

This senior individual-contributor role emphasizes technical execution, troubleshooting, test planning, verification, and clear, detailed reporting, with MBSE experience

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in systems integration, verification, validation, and test engineering for defense or national security programs.
• Strong background integrating RF, embedded, hardware, and software systems and troubleshooting complex interfaces.
• Experience applying MBSE tools and methodologies to support system definition, interface management, verification, or test activities.

Responsibilities

• Own system integration, verification, validation, and test activities for complex defense systems.
• Lead test planning, execution, and customer-facing test readiness.
• Coordinate with Government customers, subcontractors, partners, and internal teams.
