Job summary

Raytheon seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead execution across a portfolio of Air Force development programs, including radar development and processor initiatives. This role drives cost, schedule, and technical performance, with disciplined execution, cross-functional integration, and proactive customer engagement across DoD customers. This is an onsite, U.S.-based role in El Segundo, CA.

Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret U.S. government clearance; DoD security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.
• Experience managing cost, schedule, and technical execution using EVMS and/or similar tools.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Ability to obtain a Secret U.S. government issued security clearance and program access after start.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio leadership across Air Force development programs, including engineering development, processor initiatives, and production and sustainment efforts.
• Lead procurement, manufacturing, integration, and testing for engineering development units and related deliverables.
• Serve as a Control Account Manager (CAM) with responsibility for program planning, baseline management, and earned value performance.
• Manage development activities for advanced processor hardware aligned with radar and sensing program needs.
• Oversee production and sustainment activities, ensuring on-time delivery for multiple internal and external customers.
• Lead proposal development, strategy, and negotiations for new and follow-on efforts, including major development, production, and sustainment proposals.
• Direct cross-functional teams across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Contracts, Mission Assurance, and related functions.
• Maintain proactive communication with U.S. Air Force, DoD customers, government representatives, prime contractors, and internal stakeholders.
