Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Sales Executive to shape and deliver a strategy for building mind share and broad use of AWS by modernizing USAF mission systems.

You will engage with key Defense customers, systems integrators, and solution providers to drive cloud adoption and transformative IT strategies. Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT quota-carrying sales
• 7+ years selling to the USAF
• 10+ years meeting/exceeding sales quotas
• 7+ years with Federal Systems Integrators & Partners supporting USAF/DoD
• 5 years fundamentals of cloud computing with depth in technical aspects
• Current Top Secret or higher clearance
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Meets Amazon leadership principles & depth

Responsibilities

• Develop a growing book of business in the USAF as part of a USAF sales team.
• Drive business and technical relationships and close business rapidly by defining and pursuing opportunities.
• Establish deep business/technical relationships through knowledge of the customer's mission and environment.
• Interact day-to-day with customers at senior levels.
• Lead cross-functional teams on complex, strategic sales pursuits.
• Travel as necessary.
