Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Sales Executive to help build and deliver a strategy for cloud adoption with Navy and Marine Corps customers in the United States. You will develop deep relationships, drive opportunities, and engage with senior military and civilian staff to modernize mission systems using cloud computing.

You must be a US citizen with an active Secret clearance. The role requires travel and a strong background in IT sales to government customers.

Qualifications

BS or equivalent in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of quota-carrying IT sales experience with meeting/exceeding quotas.
4+ years selling to USMC/Navy.
4+ years working with Federal Systems Integrators and partners supporting USMC/DoD.
4+ years fundamentals of cloud computing with ability to differentiate providers.

Responsibilities

Develop a growing Navy/Marine Corps book of business as part of a Navy sales team.
Drive business and technical relationships and close deals rapidly.
Establish deep business and technical relationships through customer mission knowledge.
Interact day-to-day with customers at senior levels.
Engage with staff officers, contracting officials, developers, and architects.
Think strategically about mission, product and technical challenges; convey value.
Travel as necessary.
