Job summary

Griffon Aerospace seeks a Capture Manager to lead the capture process for DoD opportunities. You will report to the VP of Programs and drive qualification, teaming, and winning proposals across engineering, business, and corporate stakeholders.

You will own the execution, author key response documents, and shape compliant, compelling bids while navigating the DoD acquisition process and color team reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; APMP/Shipley credentials are a plus but track record matters most.
• 7+ years defense capture management or business development experience with winning proposals.
• Experience with full capture lifecycle: qualification, black hat, teaming, proposal, color reviews.
• Knowledge of FAR and DoW source selection processes.
• Strong writing skills; able to author key proposal content.

Responsibilities

• Own the capture lifecycle and qualify opportunities aligned with Griffon's strategy.
• Lead the proposal team and ensure compliant, compelling responses on time.
• Coordinate pricing, contracts, and teaming inputs into a unified bid.
• Brief status to leadership; manage color team reviews and win strategies.
