Job summary

CAE USA Inc. seeks a Capture Manager I to lead capture activities for defense and security opportunities, from pursuit decisions through contract award. The role builds cross-functional teams to shape technical solutions, pricing, and competitive positioning, ensuring compelling and compliant proposals.

Responsibilities include developing capture plans, coordinating with BD and Proposal teams, and managing relationships with customers and partners to improve the chance of win.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2–5 years of capture management experience.
• Ability to lead teams in volatile and dynamic environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead capture activities for new opportunities and recompetes from pursuit decision to contract award.
• Develop and execute capture plans and win strategies aligned with customer needs and CAE objectives.
• Build and lead cross-functional capture teams for technical solutions, pricing, and proposals.
• Coordinate with BD leaders to transition from opportunity qualification to capture phase.
• Partner with Proposal Development to ensure a compliant, compelling response.
• Maintain relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders; identify teaming opportunities.
• Lead competitive assessments and price-to-win activities with estimators and partners.
