Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience preferred in deductions/collections.
• Proficiency in Excel and Outlook; SAP familiarity beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collect invalid deductions through customer follow-up, repayment requests, and escalation when needed.
• Review and maintain accurate supporting documentation including deduction backup, claim details, customer correspondence, and system notes.
• Partner with sales, customer service, pricing, transportation, operations, and finance to verify deduction details and resolve disputes.
• Reconcile assigned deduction activity to ensure AR balances are accurate, current, and well-supported.
• Monitor aging, prioritize high-risk items, and follow up to reduce open deductions and minimize bad debt risk.
• Assist with reporting, account reviews, and process improvements related to deduction recovery and resolution.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, problem-solving and accountability; maintain customer-focused approach.
