The position involves hands-on duties, following SOPs, and supporting training for new staff while maintaining timely order fulfillment and quality control in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED; 3+ years related experience.
• Experience operating forklift and warehouse equipment safely.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC wholesale industry, principles, and practices.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and procedures.

Aufgaben

• Operate power equipment safely to locate, store, and move products.
• Receive product by unloading trucks and ensuring proper handling.
• Verify shipments against packing lists and paperwork; document discrepancies.
• Ensure bar code labels and stock numbers are readable; resolve labeling issues.
• Pick, pack, and stack orders to minimize damage and ensure proper entry into systems.
• Document shipment of hazardous materials and prepare packing lists.
• Prepare trucks for shipments and palletize orders while maintaining accuracy.
• Maintain safety, SOP adherence, and participate in cycle counts and improvements.
• Train new staff and assist in procedural changes.
