Job summary

Epicor seeks a Principal Database Administrator to ensure the stability, security, and availability of GovCloud databases that support Epicor customers. You will design, implement, and maintain complex databases while mentoring team members and driving best practices in observability.

You will lead projects, apply telemetry with Datadog, and collaborate with management to deliver reliable database services at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience including 3+ years in a senior/lead role.
• BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to propose and implement new ideas and lead a team to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Advise management on database concepts and translate data models into designs that meet standards.
• Install, configure, and maintain database management system software on servers.
• Design, implement, and maintain complex databases with proper security and performance.
