Job summary

Epicor India is seeking a Principal Database Administrator to uphold stability, security, and availability of GovCloud databases for Epicor customers. You’ll design, implement, and monitor databases, advise management, mentor staff, and drive best practices across teams.

You will lead complex projects, apply telemetry, and foster reliable, scalable database solutions while collaborating with global teams in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ applicable experience and 3+ years in specialized/industry roles.
• BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to propose and implement new ideas, lead a team to meet deadlines, and manage schedules.
• Excellent written and oral communication with mentoring capability.
• Analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in running Microsoft Access queries and broad database management.

This role is essential to maintaining the stability, security, and availability of GovCloud database environments that support Epicor customers. The Principal Database Administrator design, implement, and support databases to meet business requirements, develop database strategies, and ensure robust system monitoring. You will play a key role in advising management, mentoring team members, and driving best practices for database management.
