Job summary

Medbridge is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to shape our Data Science practice. This remote-first role reports to a Head of Data & ML and owns predictive models from framing to production in Snowflake, monitoring, and retraining.

You will work with product, engineering, clinical, and customer-facing teams to ensure models drive outcomes. We seek a candidate with strong Python/SQL, healthcare data experience, and a track record of production-ready code.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering models to production with end-to-end ownership.
• Strong Python and SQL, plus disciplined software engineering practices.
• Experience with healthcare data and causal inference.
• Ability to collaborate with product, engineering, clinical teams.
• Experience as the first data science/ML hire in an organization.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, development, validation, and production operation of predictive models.
• Ship models to production in Snowflake and monitor performance.
• Collaborate with product and clinical teams to frame problems and alignment with product goals.
• Document decisions, communicate uncertainty, and discuss tradeoffs clearly.
• Develop and validate risk-adjustment/outcomes benchmarking models and monitor their impact.
