Job summary

Medbridge is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to lead predictive and statistical modeling efforts in healthcare. You own models end-to-end—from framing to production in Snowflake—and you’ll influence metrics and governance across product, clinical, and engineering stakeholders.

You will design, validate, and deploy models, monitor their impact in production, and mentor others while upholding rigorous ethical standards for healthcare data. This is a remote-first role in the United States.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of models in production with deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
• Ability to reason about data generation processes and uncertainty.
• Strong Python and SQL, with disciplined software engineering practices.
• Experience with healthcare data and causal inference preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, validate, and productionize predictive and risk-adjustment models.
• Set methodological standards and document decisions for cross-functional teams.
• Write production-quality, versioned code and oversee deployment in Snowflake.
• Measure model impact on patient outcomes and product metrics.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, clinical, and customer-facing teams.
