Qualifications

• Track record of models in production with deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
• Statistical depth with uncertainty quantification.
• Strong Python and SQL with reproducible pipelines; Snowflake experience preferred.
• Experience with messy real-world healthcare data and causal inference.
• Experience taking a model from an open-ended business goal to a shipped feature.
• Clear communication with clinical, product and leadership audiences.
• Curiosity about new methods with prudent evaluation.
• Degree in statistics/biostatistics/computer science/economics or equivalent capability.

Responsibilities

• Own design, development, validation, and production operation of predictive and risk-adjustment models, starting with outcomes benchmarking.
• Set the methodological bar, validate methods, and document decisions for stakeholders.
• Write production-quality code, versioned and reviewed, with deployment and monitoring in Snowflake.
• Estimate product and content impact on patient outcomes using experimental/observational methods.
• Turn ambiguous goals into well-posed problems and ship models in collaboration with product/engineering.
