Job summary

Bain & Company is seeking an Expert Senior Manager, Data Science for the Coro unit. You will lead data science delivery across client engagements, shaping modeling design, validation, and analytic productization, while defending methodologies in client rooms.

This is a senior, client-facing leadership role with Bain partners and client executives. You will build GenAI-enabled workflows, pricing analytics, and scalable data pipelines, and you will recruit and develop the team, collaborating with

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Econometrics, Statistics or Information Sciences.
• 8-10 years of experience in analytics
• 3+ years of experience managing data scientists
• Experience in B2B commercial or go-to-market analytics
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain ML technicalities to colleagues and clients
• Solid knowledge of supervised and unsupervised ML algorithms (classifiers, clustering, regression, NLP)
• Experience with MLOps and deploying data science workflows
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with ML frameworks (scikit-learn, XGBoost, pandas, NumPy)
• Experience with ETL, data pipelines and relational databases at scale
• Experience with cloud platforms AWS/Azure/GCP
• Experience with Tableau

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of Coro data science solutions across multiple client engagements, owning scope, methodology, quality and pace
• Collaborate with Bain case teams and client executives to translate problems into analytical approaches
• Develop and deploy production ML models and analytics for Coro solutions
• Own analytics and delivery of Coro's pricing products, including ProfitCube
• Own GenAI-enabled analytic workflows and prompt design standards
• Develop Coro IP and scalable reusable analytics frameworks
• Work with product managers to shape the roadmap and prioritize analytics features
• Lead and coach on-shore and off-shore delivery teams
• Stay updated on new data science techniques and drive adoption across teams
• Lead recruiting and onboarding to grow the Coro data science unit
• Share learnings to foster a strong data science culture
