Job summary

Bain & Company, Inc. is seeking a data scientist to own statistical modeling and analytical delivery for Growth AI modules.

You will collaborate with data engineers, translate model outputs into product-ready data products, and present findings to senior stakeholders. The role blends applied statistics with product thinking, requiring strong Python skills, Bayesian expertise, and experience communicating complex methods in business terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, or a related quantitative field.
• 8+ years of applied data science or quantitative modeling experience in a commercial, consulting-adjacent, or product environment.
• Deep domain expertise in marketing mix modeling or pricing analytics with production-level impact.

Responsibilities

• Modeling and analytical delivery for product module workstreams, framing problems and delivering production-ready models.
• Data and pipeline collaboration with data engineers to ensure clean, validated inputs.
• Presenting model methodology and outputs to senior stakeholders and driving decision-making.
• Drive methodological innovation in Bayesian inference and analytics within the product module.
