Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant in the Data Protection & Privacy area within Cybersecurity. You will lead data protection strategies, define requirements, and implement solutions to protect critical data across client environments.

You will join an international team, work on leading practices, and help clients mature their data security and privacy programs while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of related work experience, or graduate degree with 1-2 years.
• Approximately 2-3 years of technical architecture experience integrating data protection software.
• Knowledge of security concepts: vulnerability assessments, privacy assessments, incident response, governance.
• Basic networking (TCP/IP), OSI model, Windows/UNIX/mainframe, security technologies and scripting.
• Experience in three or more areas: data leakage, DRM, data classification, privacy policies, logging and DRM.

Responsibilities

• As Senior Consultant, define technical and business requirements for data protection solutions.
• Develop processes and policies for controlling data access and lifecycle protection.
• Identify high value assets, develop data classification schemes and implement protections.
• Engage in data loss prevention, data discovery, tokenization, encryption and DR strategies.
