EY is seeking a Senior Consultant in Data Protection & Privacy to help clients define requirements and implement data protection strategies. You will work across lifecycle stages to protect critical data, classify it, and enforce policies while supporting privacy programs.

The role blends technical guidance with business impact, requiring up-to-date knowledge of security concepts and regulatory requirements, and includes significant travel across US client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree with 1-2 years.
• Experience integrating data protection software into client infrastructure.
• Knowledge of security concepts: vulnerability assessments, data classification, incident response, governance.

Responsibilities

• Define technical and business requirements for data protection solutions.
• Develop data access controls, policies, and lifecycle protections.
• Identify high-value assets and implement data classification schemes.
• Implement technologies for data loss prevention, encryption, DRM, and key management.
• Assist clients with regulatory compliance and privacy program design.
