EY in the United States seeks a Senior Consultant in Data Protection & Privacy within the Cybersecurity Practice. You will help clients define requirements, develop data protection strategies, and implement solutions to protect data across its lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and approximately 2-3 years of related work experience.
• Approximately 2-3 years of technical architecture experience integrating data protection software.
• Knowledge of security concepts, vulnerability assessments, privacy assessments, incident response, security policy creation, enterprise security strategies, architectures and governance.
• Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP), OS fundamentals, security technologies and scripting languages.
• Experience in three or more areas: DRM, data classification and privacy policies, DRM, logging/monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Define technical and business requirements for data protection solutions.
• Develop business processes and policies related to controlling access to data.
• Identify, understand and protect data throughout the data lifecycle, including data classification schemes.
• Lead the implementation of data protection capabilities across client environments.
• Engage in data loss prevention, data discovery, encryption, and tokenization efforts.
