Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a Senior Consultant in our Data Protection & Privacy within Cybersecurity. You will help clients define technical and business requirements for data protection solutions and develop policies that control access to data while protecting digital assets across the data lifecycle.

The role requires willingness to travel 60–80% and offers opportunities across major offices with EY's global network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2–3 years related work experience.
• 2–3 years of technical architecture experience integrating data protection software.
• Knowledge of security concepts: vulnerability assessments, privacy assessments, incident response.
• Basic networking (TCP/IP) and OS fundamentals; scripting languages.
• Experience in three or more areas: data leakage, DRM, data classification, logging, and DRM.

Responsibilities

• Lead data protection initiatives from requirements to implementation.
• Identify assets, classify data, and implement protection controls.
• Develop data governance policies and standards.
• Define technical and business requirements for protection solutions.
• Develop processes and technologies to provide data protection capabilities.
