Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant in our Cybersecurity Data Protection & Privacy practice to help clients develop data protection strategies and implement solutions that ensure data security, privacy and integrity.

You will work with an international team on data classification, encryption, and DRM, and travel 60-80% across US offices. EY supports career growth with training and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with relevant work experience in data protection and privacy.
• Experience integrating data protection software into client infrastructures.
• Knowledge of vulnerability assessments, privacy assessments, incident response, and security governance.
• Familiarity with networking (TCP/IP) and operating systems (Windows/UNIX).
• Demonstrated experience in multiple data protection areas from the list (e.g., encryption, DRM, PKI).
• Willingness to travel 60-80% across the US.

Responsibilities

• Define technical and business requirements for data protection solutions.
• Develop data classification schemes, standards, and guidelines.
• Implement processes and technologies for data protection and privacy.
• Support clients across high-value data assets and lifecycle stages.
• Engage in enterprise data loss prevention, discovery, encryption, and DRM initiatives.
