Job summary

Cambia Health seeks a Senior Data Platform Engineer to design, build, and own scalable Snowflake ELT pipelines and data models powering analytics and operational reporting. You will mentor engineers, set technical standards, and drive platform strategy in a complex enterprise environment.

With 6+ years in data engineering and a CS/Math/Eng degree, you will influence decisions, optimize performance, and lead cross‑functional teams across the Data & Analytics Engineering group.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Platform Engineering, with senior or lead experience.
• College degree in Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Experience in healthcare or complex enterprise data environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Data Engineers; drive engineering standards and best practices.
• Independently design, build, tune, and own scalable Snowflake ELT pipelines, data models, and platform artifacts.
• Optimize performance through query tuning, compute sizing, and cost management.
• Partner with analytics, product, governance, QA, and business teams to deliver high‑quality data solutions.
• Contribute to platform strategy, risk assessments, and adoption of DataOps/CI/CD/AI tools.
• Ensure data quality, testing, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
