Job summary

Cambia Health Solutions seeks a Senior Data Engineer to lead platform engineering, shaping scalable Snowflake-based frameworks and Airflow orchestration. You will mentor junior engineers, ensure data governance, and partner with analytics teams to deliver robust data products.

This hybrid role requires in-office presence 3 days/week in Salt Lake City and other listed offices. Expertise in Snowflake, Python, SQL, dbt, and data orchestration, plus strong collaboration skills, are essential for

Qualifications

• 7-8+ years in data platform engineering or data engineering with senior/lead experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of technical projects and mentor junior Data Engineers; drive engineering standards and best practices.
• Architect, build, tune, and automate scalable Snowflake-based frameworks for data and analytics teams, including privacy and RBAC configuration.
• Partner with Data Modeling to design scalable data models and warehouse layers for analytics and operational workloads.
• Optimize Snowflake performance: query tuning, compute sizing, workload isolation.
• Collaborate with analytics, product, data engineering, and business teams to deliver high-quality data platform solutions.
• Ensure implementation quality, documentation, and platform observability.
