Job summary

Cambia Health Solutions seeks a Senior Data Engineer to lead platform-wide Snowflake solutions, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with data modeling and analytics teams to deliver scalable data platforms.

Role involves CI/CD pipelines, data privacy, RBAC, and cross-team collaboration across multiple offices. Strong Python and SQL skills, Snowflake expertise, and ELT/ETL design are essential.

Qualifications

• 7-8 years of relevant experience in data platform engineering or data engineering, including senior or lead-level experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Experience with a business area supported by this position is preferred, such as Provider Network and Contract Management, Digital Solutions, Pricing, Membership, or Claims.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of technical projects and mentor junior Data Engineers; drive engineering standards and best practices.
• Architect, build, tune, and automate scalable Snowflake-based frameworks for Data and Analytics teams, including data privacy, database object management, data engineering pipeline orchestration, database environment management, and RBAC configuration and management.
• Partner with the Data Modeling team to design scalable data models and warehouse layers that support analytics and operational workloads.
• Optimize Snowflake performance, including query tuning, compute sizing, and workload isolation.
• Partner with analytics, product, data engineering, and business teams to deliver high-quality data & analytics platform solutions.
• Ensure implementation quality and performant code, thorough testing, extensive documentation, and platform observability.
