Job summary

Cambia Health Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead data platform initiatives. You will design, build and optimize Snowflake-based frameworks, and guide data engineering teams across the organization.

The role emphasizes CI/CD, Python, and SQL, with emphasis on data governance, RBAC, and secure, scalable data products. Hybrid work with preferred commutes from multiple offices, including Portland, OR.

Qualifications

• 7–8 years of experience in data platform engineering or data engineering, including senior/lead level.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• Experience with provider network or contract management domain is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of technical projects and mentor junior Data Engineers.
• Architect and automate scalable Snowflake-based frameworks for analytics teams.
• Partner with Data Modeling to design scalable models and warehouse layers.
• Optimize Snowflake performance, tuning queries and sizing compute.
• Collaborate with analytics, product, data engineering and business teams to deliver solutions.
• Ensure code quality, testing, documentation and platform observability.
