Job summary

PerfectServe is seeking a Staff Data Engineer for a remote US role. You will own the data platform, ingestion, and modeling, partnering with architecture and platform teams to deliver scalable pipelines.

The role focuses on designing from scratch, setting standards, and mentoring engineers, with deep SQL and cloud data warehouse expertise (Snowflake/BigQuery/Databricks) and dbt. We value healthcare domain experience and a hands-on, opinionated approach, enabling data-driven decision making and

Qualifications

• Experience building and operating cloud data platforms.
• Ability to design scalable data models and ETL pipelines.
• Strong SQL proficiency and data quality mindset.
• Experience with Snowflake/BigQuery/Databricks is a plus.
• Experience with dbt and orchestration tools recommended.

Responsibilities

• Own the data platform architecture and ingestion pipelines.
• Model raw data into business-ready datasets with consistent definitions.
• Set engineering standards for quality, testing, and governance.
