Job summary

PerfectServe is investing in a unified data platform spanning our product portfolio. The senior engineer will shape the detailed architecture with the architecture team, own the implementation and integration design, and set engineering standards for the team.

You will influence both architecture and platform, partnering with cross-functional teams while building a data-centric future for healthcare insights.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building and operating cloud data platforms.
• Strong SQL and a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake/BigQuery/Databricks).
• Proficient in a transformation framework such as dbt.
• Experience with ELT and change-data-capture across sources.
• AWS experience with cross-region data movement.
• Dimensional or medallion data modeling applied in practice.
• Workflow orchestration and data quality testing as standard practice.

Responsibilities

• Own the implementation design across the platform—ingestion, modeling, surfaces.
• Shape architecture from the high-level direction with the architecture team.
• Own integration design across production source systems.
• Build ingestion pipelines from multiple systems.
• Model raw data into business-ready datasets with a single metric definition.
• Set engineering standards including data quality and testing.
• Collaborate with platform and operations teams on safe data extraction.
• Work with data consumers to ensure built solutions answer real questions.
• Mentor data engineers and help shape their work.
