Job summary

PerfectServe, Inc. is building a data platform and you will own the AWS footprint, deployment path, and access model in a regulated environment. You’ll design declarative, version-controlled infrastructure and auditable production access from day one.

The role focuses on enabling a new platform to touch production data with high security, multi-tenant constraints, and overnight reliability. You’ll collaborate across security, platform, and development teams.

Qualifications

• Depth in AWS is the core requirement for this role.
• Networking: VPC design, cross-region and cross-account data movement, private connectivity, VPN.
• IAM: design least-privilege access, not just apply policy.
• Storage: S3, including access patterns and bucket policy.

Responsibilities

• Own the AWS infrastructure for the data platform, defined as code.
• Build and maintain the deployment path, using GitOps and continuous delivery.
• Design least-privilege access to production data sources with credentials, network routes, and permissions.
• Stand up observability for the platform so reliability is built in from the start.
• Administer the Kubernetes workloads the platform runs on.
• Partner with our security team due to HIPAA considerations and multi-tenant data.
• Automate the operational work rather than manual intervention.
