Job summary

PerfectServe, Inc. is building a new data platform and data pipelines to unify data across product portfolios. You will work closely with a staff data engineer and a platform engineer, owning pipelines from production sources through delivery to analysts and dashboards.

We value hands-on, production-minded engineers with strong SQL and at least one modern programming language. This remote-first role offers growth, learning, and the chance to influence data strategy at PerfectServe.

Qualifications

• Experience building data pipelines with production ownership.
• Strong SQL and at least one programming language (Python or Go).
• Hands-on dbt or another transformation framework.
• Experience with a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Familiarity with ELT and data orchestration (Airflow, Fivetran).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ingestion pipelines from production source systems.
• Write transformation models to turn raw data into trustworthy datasets.
• Apply dimensional and medallion modelling patterns as the warehouse evolves.
• Deploy pipelines to production with testing and data quality checks.
• Contribute to data model and schema design, and participate in design reviews.
• Document pipelines and runbooks for the owned systems.
