Job summary

CVS Health seeks a Principal Engineer, Data Platforms to own architecture and governance for the Unified Ingestion Platform and Federated Data Lake. You will steer Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog strategy across Azure, AWS, and GCP, aligning security, policy, and operational excellence with OTEL and open standards.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in enterprise cloud data platforms and ingestion ecosystems.
8+ years with Databricks, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog in governance frameworks.
8+ years IaC/automation with Terraform and cloud-native tools.
5+ years in multi-cloud leadership across Azure, AWS and GCP.

Responsibilities

Define architecture and roadmap for Unified Ingestion Platform and Federated Data Lake.
Lead security, governance, and observability practices across the platform.
Establish automation, CI/CD pipelines, and policy-as-code standards.
Mentor engineers and drive cost optimization and platform adoption.
