Job summary

EY is seeking an Assistant Director – Data Engineering & Analytics Platforms to shape enterprise data, analytics and AI capabilities across the US. You’ll partner with business leaders, architects and engineering teams to establish technical direction, deliver modern data platforms and create measurable business value.

You will drive design and delivery of advanced data and AI solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, cloud platforms and emerging AI technologies, guiding architecture,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technology discipline.
• 8–12 years of progressive data engineering experience.
• Experience guiding architecture and solution design decisions.
• Hands-on work with Azure Databricks or Microsoft Fabric platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for data, analytics, and AI platform initiatives end-to-end.
• Guide architecture decisions to satisfy security, scalability, and quality needs.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams through design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Review pipelines, integrations, and analytics solutions for performance and reliability.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines with governance.
• Coach and mentor team members and promote engineering best practices.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders; support onshore/offshore transitions.
