Job summary

EY is seeking an Assistant Director – Data Engineering & Analytics Platforms in the US to shape enterprise data, analytics and AI capabilities. Qualifications

• BS in CS or related tech field and 8–12 years of data engineering/delivery experience.
• Proven technical leadership guiding architecture and solution design.
• Hands-on with enterprise data analytics on Azure Databricks or Microsoft Fabric.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for enterprise data, analytics and AI platform initiatives.
• Guide architecture and design decisions to meet security, scalability and quality needs.
• Lead workstreams and multidisciplinary teams through full delivery lifecycle.
• Review designs, data pipelines and analytics solutions for reliability and performance.
• Manage risks, dependencies and delivery timelines with governance.
• Remove barriers and ensure smooth technical execution across teams.
• Coach and mentor engineers; promote knowledge sharing and consistency.
• Communicate risks and options clearly to stakeholders.
• Lead onshore and offshore transitions, knowledge transfer and handoffs.
