Job summary

EY is seeking an Assistant Director for Data Engineering & Analytics Platforms to shape enterprise data, analytics and AI capabilities. You will partner with business leaders to establish technical direction, deliver modern data platforms and develop AI-enabled solutions that drive measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related tech field required.
• 8–12 years in data engineering, data platforms, or analytics engineering.
• Proven leadership of development teams and architecture guidance.
• Hands-on with Azure Databricks or Microsoft Fabric ecosystems.
• Strong knowledge of data ingestion, transformation, and production support.
• Experience managing delivery risks, dependencies and governance.
• Experience leading cross-functional workstreams and knowledge transfer.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for enterprise data, analytics and AI platforms.
• Guide architecture and design decisions meeting security and scalability needs.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams through design, development and deployment.
• Review data pipelines, integrations and analytics solutions for performance and reliability.
• Manage risks, priorities and quality controls across projects.
• Mentor team members and promote best engineering practices.
• Communicate risks and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
