Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technology discipline.
• 8 to 12 years of progressive professional experience in data engineering or analytics platforms.
• Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership to development teams.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and at least one other platform (Microsoft Fabric preferable).
• Strong knowledge of data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and production support.
• Experience leading cross-functional delivery and communicating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for enterprise data and analytics platform initiatives from requirements through deployment.
• Guide architecture and solution-design decisions to meet security, scalability, and reliability requirements.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams through design, development, testing, deployment and production support.
• Review data pipelines, platform integrations, and analytics solutions for performance and maintainability.
• Manage risks, dependencies and delivery timelines with governance and quality controls.
• Mentor team members and promote best practices across geographically distributed teams.
• Communicate risks, options, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
