Job summary

EY seeks an Assistant Director – Data Engineering & Analytics Platforms in the US to guide enterprise data and AI initiatives. You will partner with leaders and engineers to set technical direction, deliver modern data platforms, and create measurable business value.

You’ll drive architecture choices, mentor teams, and enable secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks and related cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technology discipline.
• 8–12 years of progressive experience in data engineering or related field.
• Experience leading development teams and guiding architecture decisions.
• Hands-on with Azure Databricks or Microsoft Fabric platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for enterprise data, analytics and AI platform initiatives from requirements to production support.
• Guide architecture and design to meet security, scalability and quality goals.
• Lead cross-functional workstreams through design, development, testing and deployment.
• Review data pipelines and analytics solutions for reliability and performance.
• Manage risks, dependencies and delivery timelines with governance and quality controls.
• Coach team members and promote knowledge sharing of best practices.
