Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale relational databases and cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Strong ETL, data warehousing, cloud tech and analytics concepts.
• Experience with on-prem RDBMS/data warehouse platforms and Ab Initio.
• Hands-on AWS experience including Redshift; batch and real-time pipelines in DevOps.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, globally distributed Agile environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and stakeholder collaboration.
• Ability and willingness to travel for business as required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant data applications on on-prem and AWS.
• Lead technical team to deliver data solutions meeting business goals.
• Collaborate with architects, data scientists and product management on requirements.
• Ensure compliance with data management policies and standards.
• Oversee design, development, testing and production of ETL/Redshift workloads.
• Promote automation and Synchrony cultural values; manage stakeholder relationships.
