Job summary

CoreWeave is recruiting a Senior White Space Design Engineer to lead the architectural and infrastructure design for white space across its data center portfolio. The role emphasizes hands-on design, coordination with internal teams and consultants, and delivering scalable, standardized solutions for high-density compute.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Network, Low Voltage/Cabling, or related field).
• 7+ years of experience in data center design, mission-critical infrastructure engineering, or white space design leadership.
• Direct experience with data center white space infrastructure systems (PDUs, RPPs, busways, branch circuits, hot aisle containment, remote CDUs, fan walls, high-density cooling).
• Experience reviewing construction drawings, submittals, RFIs, and design changes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review white space layouts, infrastructure designs, specifications, details, and engineering documentation.
• Support development and maintenance of White Space Basis of Design and reference designs.
• Review high-density power distribution, cooling systems, and cable pathways for compliance with standards.
• Provide technical direction to third-party design consultants and resolve field design issues.
• Support projects during construction, commissioning, and deployment and participate in design workshops and constructability reviews.
• Apply lessons learned to improve design quality, repeatability, speed, and scalability.
