Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Datacenter Services Technician to manage break/fix and hardware maintenance of server components and to validate cabling and network connectivity. You will monitor ticketing workflows, mentor junior technicians, and implement technical solutions aligned with SOPs/MOPs for Data Center Change Control.

Responsibilities include acting as a technical liaison across teams to identify resiliency risks, ensuring safety and compliance, and contributing to continuous improvement.

• Strong interest in learning new DC concepts and technology.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to climb a 9 ft ladder.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Shift schedule that rotates, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• IT Hardware Concepts knowledge (RAID, Linux/Unix, CLI).
• Good computer skills.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Able to work 10-12 hour shifts
• Experience with mainstream ticketing systems is a plus
• Willing to travel as required
• Client experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Datacenter Services Operations-Break/Fix and Hardware Maintenance: identify and replace or upgrade server components.
• Datacenter Services Operations-Network Configuration, Installation, and Augmentation: validate cabling and connectivity.
• Technical Support and Trouble Shooting: monitor tickets and escalate trends as needed.
