Job summary

Oracle US is seeking a Datacenter Operations technician focused on break/fix, hardware maintenance, and network configuration to support resilient data center services.

You will mentor technicians, follow SOPs/MOPs, manage tickets, and collaborate with vendor partners to ensure uptime and compliance across on-site environments.

Responsibilities

• Identifies opportunities for others to replace or upgrade server components and main hardware to ensure lifecycle efficiency.
• Validates cabling and verifies network environment build and connectivity is established.
• Monitors and assigns work in a ticketing environment, mentoring less experienced technicians or implementing technical solutions.
• Trains advance fix and repair techniques that align with SOPs/MOPs for Data Center Change Control processes.
• Acts as a technical liaison to identify and resolve resiliency, reliability, and availability risks.
